Tour

Lenti - End of the forest railroad

At the train station of Lenti you will find a museum of life in the forests of Göcsej, in the forest-related activities. We turn north from the station building and reach Kossuth Street, west direction on the bicycle road towards Rédics.

Rédics

The settlement, 7 kms from Lent, is one of the busiest crossings of the Slovenian-Hungarian border. At the village signboard, turn south. At the end of Petőfi street there is the country house. (Warning, this is a little detour!) A road goes to the Lendvkecskés (75156), which slowly climbs up the hills.

Lendvadedes Lake

Lake Lendvadedes is an artificial reservoir formed by the valley of the Liponyak brook. The lake is a hiking destination for nature lovers.

Gosztola

From the bicycle road to the east turn to Gosztola towards the red sign. The village lies in the hiding place of the hilltops surrounding Lenti.

Lenti Mountain

The "Lentihegy", which is part of the Lenti town, originally provided the vineyard tasks typical of Zala settlements. However, with the establishment of a thermal spa, the area just 3 km from the beach is a resting area.

On the paved asphalt road we continue our way to Lenti, where we reach the Bánffy Street from Petőfi Sándor Street, turn to western direction. Soon we will arrive to the train station.
