Village Mill Museum, Kapolcs
In the 1830's there were nine mills operating in Kapolcs. Today, one of the sights of the city is the renovated Szaller Watermill which is also known as the Village Mill. It houses an exhibition of agricultural tools and machines and the visitors can learn about the processing of wheat and other cereal grains.
In this mill, the workers used a grinding technique unique to Hungary - this can also be seen in the exhibition. Registration is needed before visiting the mill.
