Marzipan Museum and Patisserie, Keszthely
The building is the location of a patisserie and also houses a confectionery exhibition where in 20 containers there are 100, appetizingly beautiful and detailed artworks made of marzipan. Among the sweet statues we can see the marzipan maquette of the Festetics Palace that took 2 months to make. The works of art, depicting the sight of Keszthely, cartoon characters and even dinosaurs, were created by the owner of the company and his wife. One of the curiosities of the exhibition is a wedding cake which is actually a 12 horse drawn carriage.
If we feel starved for some sweets after visiting the exhibition, we can try all sorts of goods in the museum's patisserie.
