Nativity of St John the Baptist Church, Zsámbék
The parish church was built in Baroque style between 1749 and 1754. The interior contains a beautiful carved, Rococo pulpit made by the sculptor of the Zichy family, Károly Bebó. Due to the damages made by an earthquake in 1763, the church was renovated in the 19th century. The red marble baptismal font, the 18th century organ and the painting by Ferenc Lohr are also notable features of the interior. The main altarpiece depicts the Baptism of Christ.
