The Column of the Holy Trinity, Vác
The sandstone statues in front of the Piarist Church were sculpted between 1750-55. The memorial was erected by the survivors of the plague of 1740-41. Its composition has statues of saints protecting from diseases. Reflecting the state of the city in the period, the column has the coat of arms of both Püspök-Vác and Káptalan-Vác. It is one of the finest monuments of Vác.
