Modern Art Collection, Vác
The gallery offers a glimpse into the modern style of the 20th century. Represented here are the works of the most important modern, Hungarian and foreign painters from Szilveszter Matuska to Salvador Dalí.

Lelly Dombay lived and worked in France for decades which can be felt in her choice of themes and unique style of modernity. On her large panels, we can see birds of love and happiness, the endless sky and the deep blue sea.
One of the most important artists of the Great Plain School of painting, János Józsa is also represented in the collection.
The unmatched skill shown in the oil paintings of Vladimir Szabó is an another unique aspect of the exhibition. He was known to have the best drawing skills in Hungary.
Artists from the Váci School are also represented here, we can see the works of András Orvos, András Cs. Nagy, József Monos, Imre Gáal, Erzsébet Markó, Pál Mizser, Gábor Koltai, Árpád Németh.
