Saint Michael Church, Vác
In the main square of Vác, we can see the ruins of the layout and the cemetery of the medieval Saint Michael Church. The building stood here for almost half millennia, and the settlers of the new city organised the plan of their town with the church in focus. In Baroque times, locals unsuccessfully tried to build it into a cathedral.
Part of the 18th century crypt is sealed with glass today, and there is an exhibition inside about the history of the church.
