Primate's Palace, Esztergom
The building, seen on the 10 000 ft note, was designed by József Lippert and built between 1880 and 1882. The Historicist , Neo-Renaissance palace was built as a residence for the archbishops of Esztergom.
Besides the residences, the palace houses the Archbishopric Library, the Primate Archives and also the Christian Museum. The so called Black Saloon, which is contains the study, guest and bedroom of the archbishop, was named after its black colored furniture. The cityscape paintings of Eszergom and the full size portraits of Franz Joseph and Empress Elisabeth ('Sisi') are located in the Empire style Green Saloon, and the Red Saloon contains copies of Renaissance paintings made by the first occupant of the palace. There is a bust of Ottokár Prohászka in the garden.
